Loading and Unloading Mulch

Loading and Unloading Mulch

It’s a glorious day here in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. Our trusty F-250 pickup is hitched to our Haulit trailer, specially designed for hardworking landscapers dealing with all sorts of dirt, mulch, and gravel. Let’s get to it!

As you can see, this trailer boasts a powerful tarping mechanism and two sturdy 7,000-pound axles. It’s a landscaper’s dream come true. We’re about to load it up, secure the tarp, and then show you how to make the most of it.

Watch as we load up a generous supply of three, maybe even four, yards of mulch. With the capacity to carry five yards, we’re making the most of the space available. Now, here’s where the magic happens. We’ve got this handy remote control that allows us to operate the trailer from the comfort of our cab. With a simple push of a button, the deck rises and lowers effortlessly.

Now, let’s talk about that tarping mechanism. It’s a breeze to use. All you need to do is push it down and ensure it rotates against the pipe. Take it up and over the top, hook it at the back, give it a quick crank to secure it tightly, and voilà! You’re all set. The flaps can be positioned over the sides, and the built-in strap is incredibly convenient.

But wait, there’s more! These trailers are custom-built right here in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they’re DOT compliant for legal loads.

Removing the tarp is a cinch. Just release the handle, unhook the pipe, and let the system do the rest. For unloading, the doors swing open with ease, and they’re thoughtfully designed to be behind the fender, so you won’t catch anyone’s garage door. No need to elevate the trailer when unloading mulch or rocks. You can either create a neat pile or distribute the material as needed, saving you from endless wheelbarrow trips.

So, there you have it—our quick demo of how the Haulit trailer simplifies the life of hardworking landscapers. Happy hauling!
