Integrated Loading Ramps

The integrated skid plates serve as built-in loading and unloading ramps, providing a wide surface that handles equipment with complete safety. You can load skid steers and compact machinery efficiently without worrying about narrow or unstable ramp configurations that slow down your workflow.

Conveyor Floor System for Better Unloading

HAULIT’s conveyor floor isn’t just for bulk material—it’s a game-changer for moving compact equipment. From generators to mini skid steers, the belted floor shifts gear smoothly and safely off the trailer without the need for ramps or chains. It’s a cleaner, faster way to unload, especially on tight job sites where time and control matter.

Adjustable Tie-Down Points

Multiple adjustable tie-down points throughout the deck secure any equipment configuration from zero-turn mowers to compact excavators. The flexible positioning system adapts to different equipment sizes and shapes, ensuring safe transport without compromising valuable machinery during transit.

7,000lb Axles with Electric Brakes

Heavy equipment requires a stable, predictable ride.
HAULIT equipment trailers are equipped with two 7,000 lb axles to support substantial payloads while maintaining balance and smooth towing.

The electric braking system integrates with the tow vehicle’s brake controller, delivering consistent stopping power—essential when hauling machinery in traffic or on job sites.
In many states, this configuration allows operators to stay under CDL thresholds when properly loaded.

Heavy-Duty Steel Built for Equipment Transport

Transporting equipment places concentrated loads on trailer decks and frames. Skid steers, mini excavators, lifts, and compact machinery require a structure that resists flexing under point-load pressure.
The HAULIT equipment trailer is constructed entirely from industrial-grade structural steel to handle repeated loading, unloading, and transport of heavy machines.

Unlike lightweight equipment or utility trailers that fatigue at stress points, HAULIT trailers are engineered for long-term commercial use. Available in 14’ and 18’ deck lengths, each configuration supports a wide range of equipment sizes and weight classe

Frame Strength

Equipment weight is rarely evenly distributed.
To handle this, HAULIT builds its equipment trailers on a foundation of ¼-inch steel tubing, providing the rigidity required to support heavy machines without frame twist or sagging.

Custom Hitch System

Equipment transport demands absolute confidence in the hitch system.
HAULIT’s custom-engineered hitch assembly is designed to manage high tongue weights while maintaining ease of operation for drivers.

Standard equipment trailer hitch features include:

  • Spring-loaded breakaway safety cable

  • Industrial-grade 7-way electrical connector

  • Bolt-on safety chains

  • Vertically adjustable hitch for multiple tow vehicles

  • Drop-foot jack for uneven job sites

  • 14K-rated 2 5/16” ball coupler

This setup reduces hookup errors and ensures proper GVWR handling across your fleet.

Cross Member Spacing

Machines apply extreme point loads to trailer decks.
HAULIT uses tubular steel crossmembers spaced every 24 inches to prevent deck deflection and structural fatigue.

This design keeps the deck rigid under equipment tracks and tires, improving long-term durability and providing a stable loading surface during transport.

Safety Rear Barn Doors

HAULIT equipment trailers feature reinforced rear access systems designed to handle repeated loading cycles. Whether moving machines into tight job sites or unloading at rental yards, the rear structure is built for strength, control, and operator safety

Additional Features

Conveyor Floor for Machinery Positioning

HAULIT’s conveyor-style floor system provides a unique advantage for equipment transport. Powered by a 12,000 lb torque electric motor, the conveyor allows operators to position machines precisely without repeated winching or manual repositioning.

Crossbars spaced at 8 inches offer reliable traction for tracked and wheeled equipment while supporting point loads up to 4,000 lbs per contact zone. Safety shear bolts protect the drive system from misuse.

Belted, Live Floor Trailer Cargo Hold

For equipment with sensitive undercarriages or uneven weight distribution, HAULIT offers a belted live floor option.
This system provides smoother movement during loading and unloading, reducing stress on machines and improving operator control.

Electric Over Hydraulic Front Lift Ram

The HAULIT equipment trailer is equipped with a 12,000 lb electric-over-hydraulic lift ram for controlled deck elevation when needed.

Side-mounted lift cylinders outperform traditional scissor lifts by providing:

  • Increased stability

  • Fewer mechanical failure points

  • Improved load control

This system ensures safe lifting even with uneven equipment weight.

Industrial Rear Roller Casters

Industrial-grade rear roller casters protect pavement, concrete, and jobsite surfaces during loading and unloading. This feature is especially valuable when positioning heavy machines in residential or finished environments.

Powder Coating and Painting

No one likes a rusty trailer! HAULIT trailers are powder coated using superior painting and/or powder coating technologies with an etched primer and topcoat for protective finish and long lasting durability!

Reliable Zerks

Grease zerks are installed at all critical movement points to ensure smooth operation and extended service life. Proper maintenance keeps the trailer performing reliably year after year.

Diamond Plate Bo Aesthetics & “Wow” Factor! lt on Fenders

The wow factor that comes with this trailer is one of a kind.  There’s just nothing like this out there and it’s fun to showcase something incredibly useful to the industry.  When you pull up on a jobsite, not only does the sleek and clean design of the trailer make a statement of confidence and professionalism, but when you unload, everyone is blown away!

We had no brakes on our trailer coming over the pass. We pulled over on the side of the road and looked over and found Haulit trailers. We drove over, and Zack came out and helped us get our trailer brakes back on. He was busy but took a little time out of his busy day to help us. Thank you so much Zack, you got us back on the road.

Made in the USA trailers that simply like to MOVE STUFF. The tilt deck + conveyer belt + low deck combo = ease of use and lots of control when moving heavy loads in and out of the trailer. Great outfit right outside of Salt Lake City.

We purchased several of these trailers to make deliveries of palletized roofing materials. The setup that we chose allowed us to make these delivers using non-CDL drivers which saves our company a considerable amount of money and minimizes wear and tear on our large delivery trucks that is “normal” in our industry. We are able to make these deliveries with 3/4 ton pickup trucks, stay under legal weight and the process is faster for us at the job site. We have made a few hundred deliveries with them and the are holding up as expected. We have had a few issues with the 1st generation trailers, but communication with the correct people has worked in getting those concerns corrected on the following generations. They even made a special service call out from Utah to check the operation of all trailers and made updates that we didn’t even know we needed. Randy, Nate and Zach have been wonderful to deal with and I hope we can continue to do more business in the future with them.

We purchased a haul-it trailer when our company was first getting started. It allowed us to make dozens of sod deliveries every week! I can honestly say we have worked that trailer way past what it was designed to do, and it’s still done great!

Haulit builds a high-quality trailer with a loading system that that is unmatched in their market. Their trailers have made our company more efficient and much safer. The amount of time our employees used to spend hand stacking product off of pallets has been saved, as have the number of injuries associated with this task. Haulit trailers are an excellent product that I strongly recommend.

This is an incredible company and solid trailer!

Admittedly, my road to get my current trailer was a little rocky, but ultimately, I am completely satisfied. Here is a bit about my story: I purchased my trailer from them for the purpose of delivering and unloading multiple pallets of pavers and wall block at a time. The weights of these pallets are on the extreme end for sure. They were able to get a trailer to me right away after ordering it. The first trailer I received experienced several problems and was not working as I had hoped for its intended use. When I reached out to the folks at Haulit, they were very receptive and wanted to make things right immediately. Being a first time customer, I was a little shocked at their willingness to help. It seems so many manufacturers nowadays don't have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Not only did Haulit make modifications to the new trailer to better suit my needs, but they even came to me and swapped it out. No small task being that they are 12.5 hours away from me. I have now been using the replacement trailer for several months and really pushing it hard with zero issues whatsoever. These trailers make delivering pallets of even very heavy product a breeze. Haulit has also implemented several of these changes into their ongoing design to make an even better product. Huge thanks to the Haulit team members and ownership. You are a breathe of fresh air in the manufacturing world and other manufacturers should take note.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Equipment Trailers Used For?

Equipment trailers do more than just move your machinery around. Yes, you’ll haul skid steers and excavators between jobs, but the real value comes from what else you can do. The conveyor system means you can deliver materials right where customers want them – no more dumping gravel in driveways and making homeowners spread it themselves.

Landscaping crews use these trailers for everything from moving mowers to delivering mulch with precision. Construction contractors haul equipment during the week and run material delivery on weekends. Property maintenance teams transport tools and remove debris in the same trip. The tilt deck handles equipment that won’t go up ramps, like damaged machinery or low-clearance mowers.

Other ways contractors use these trailers:

  • Delivering materials to tight spaces where dump trucks can’t go
  • Emergency equipment transport after storms or breakdowns
  • Rental equipment pickup and delivery services
  • Cleanup jobs that need both hauling and material placement
  • Transporting valuable equipment more securely than open trailers
What Type of Equipment Can You Haul with The Workhorse?

If it weighs under 10,000 pounds and fits through a 4-foot gate, you can haul it. That covers almost everything contractors use daily – skid steers, compact excavators, zero-turn mowers, walk-behind equipment, compact tractors, and side-by-sides.

The electric over hydraulic tilt makes a big difference for equipment that struggles with ramps. Low-clearance mowers, equipment with track problems, or anything you need to load carefully. You can also load multiple smaller pieces at once instead of making separate trips for each machine.

What is the Warranty on HAULIT Equipment Trailers?

We stand behind these equipment trailers because we build them to last longer than typical equipment trailers. Most utility trailers start having serious problems after 2-3 years of regular use – bent frames, hydraulic failures, rust issues.

HAULIT owners regularly get 5+ years of solid performance from their trailers. The warranty covers the major structural components and manufacturing issues because we use heavier materials than most trailer manufacturers. When cheaper trailers are breaking down, yours will still be working and making you money.

What is the Weight Capacity of HAULIT Equipment Trailers?

The trailer handles 10,000 pounds of cargo with dual 7,000-pound axles for a total rating of 14,000 pounds. The hydraulic lift system is rated for 12,000 pounds, which means it handles heavy equipment smoothly instead of struggling like the scissor jacks on cheaper trailers.

This capacity works for everything from an 8,000-pound skid steer down to multiple smaller machines. The axle setup keeps you legal at weigh stations and provides stable handling on the road, even with heavy loads.

How Profitable is It to Start a Hauling Business?

The trailer often pays for itself within the first year through a combination of time savings and new revenue opportunities. The precision material placement opens up delivery jobs that pay $150-200 per load – work that regular dump trailers simply cannot do.

Loading time cuts in half mean you can fit more jobs into each day. Contractors tell us they save money on equipment rentals and make extra income from material delivery services. Some operators add $500-1,000 per week during busy seasons just from the delivery side of their business.
