Example #1 Greg Stiles
Greg currently delivers sod and mulch as an independent contract deliverer for landscape developers. He was using his truck bed and 14′ flat bed trailer and hand unloading deliveries. Greg worked the rough numbers of investing in a Haulit delivery trailer and determined income potential of $421,675.00 to his business. Because of the of time saved on deliveries he added in more deliveries per day which also increased his margin income. Greg paid off his trailer in 5 months.
Example #2 Mike Dunn
Mike is the owner of Thrive Nursery, in Utah. Mike was not offering deliveries for retail sales from their store and was losing sales because of it. We currently did an interview with Mike, that you can read here. By adding in a Haulit delivery trailer for home delivery of retail sales, Mike was able to significantly increase added profits.
The example below shows the rough numbers of the additional income through his Retail delivery minimum only. Mike decided to not do a delivery fee, but rather offer free delivery within a 20 mile radius of the store. His margin is already configured in his sales, so this example shows specifically the added income by being able to offer retail delivery- which he was not doing before. Mike added an additional trailer for his second season to specifically service weekend customers. Mike paid off his trailers within just a couple months of purchasing them.
